We needed a strong cutter pump to handle hardened cooking fats, but did not need to pump high volumes. We bought the 1.1kW pump first but realised it is overpowered for our need, so the later pumps were all 0.75kW. It's a heavy item so it's sent by land. That takes time. The pumps are industrial quality, so they are much bigger and more robust than a typical domestic equivalent. My suggestion is to find a way to allow air to escape in the event that the pump has dry-run, and an improvement to the pipe connection.
